If you are amongst those who wanted to play with the next iteration of Aakash tablet, then your days of wait might just be numbered.
As per Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal the Aakash 4 will be available in the market in one and half months' time. The price of Aakash 4 will be Rs. 3,999.
As far as the specifications of Aakash 4 tablet are concerned, it will be a 7-inch device which will have a scratch resistant capacitative touch screen. The connectivity options for the Aakash 4 will include Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G and 4G connectivity.
There is 4GB of internal storage available on the Aakash 4 and it will also support external memory card slot with storage capacity of up to 32 GB. The tablet will also have a front camera but the final resolution of the same is not know till now.
We had also shared with you a few days ago that there are plenty of suitor in the race. Apart from Datawind (that has developed earlier iterations of Aakash) even companies such as Dell, Acer, HCL, HP, Microsoft, Intel, Micromax, WishTel and ITI too are participating in the bidding process.
Furthermore, as mentioned in the earlier reports, it is expected that the Aakash 4 will come with 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.
