Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) has made iTunes Gift Cards available in Singapore. According to reliable sources, the cards can be bought from today within iTunes and through Apple Premium Resellers, Courts, and Challenger outlets in the country.
The iTunes Gift Cards can be used only for items within the Singapore store, and can be used to purchase different kinds of content, including apps, movies, and music.
The gift cards are available in different denominations – S$30 (US$23), S$50 (US$40), S$100, and S$150 – and the content purchased can be accessed across both Apple and PC devices.
The physical cards can be redeemed using an iOS7 camera on the iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Previously, Apple users in Singapore can only buy the gift card from a different country via unauthorized third-party resellers. The purchased card, however, can only be used within the app store of the country where it was bought.
