Back in February, Xiaomi’s budget phone, the Redmi, sold out in eight minutes when first released in Singapore. So there’s a fair chance that Xiaomi’s Mi3 will be sold out within minutes tomorrow. A Xiaomi representative declined to reveal the number of Mi3 phones that will be available in the first sales batch for Singaporeans.
The Chinese phone-maker is looking at neighboring Asian markets like India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, though there isn’t word on a definitive launch date for those other countries.
